What is Union State Bank Mobile Banking?
We have taken the most popular features of Union State Bank Online Banking and made them accessible from your mobile device. If you are an Online Banking customer, USB Mobile Banking allows you to view your account balance, transaction history, and transfer funds between accounts, all from your mobile device. If you are enrolled in our free Bill Pay service, you’ll also have access to your Payment Center. With USB Mobile Banking, you may choose the access method that works best for you. You may access your account information through our mobile web version, or our iPhone and Android mobile applications.
What do I need to use USB Mobile Banking?
To access USB Mobile Banking you must be enrolled in USB Online Banking and have a mobile device that can access the internet.
How do I sign up for USB Mobile Banking?
If you are a current Online Banking customer, and have a mobile device with access to the internet, USB Mobile Banking is just a few short clicks away. To sign up for USB Mobile Banking login to Online Banking using your login ID and password. After successfully logging in you’ll be taken to the Account Overview screen. On the left hand side of the screen under “Preferences” is a link labeled “Mobile.” Click on this link. You’ll be taken to the Mobile Preferences page.
To enroll in USB Mobile Banking, select the box marked “Yes, enable my User ID and Password for use on my mobile device” and click “Submit.” Select the “Mobile Authorizations” tab and enter your desired Mobile Authorization Code. This code is required if you wish to transfer funds between accounts using your mobile device. Once entered, click “Submit.”
You’re now ready to begin banking with your mobile device.
How do I know if I can use my mobile device for USB Mobile Banking?
If you have a mobile device that is capable of connecting to the internet you should be able to use USB Mobile Banking. Your account information and display functionality may differ depending on the browser used by your web browser. Be sure to check with your mobile service provider for information about fees associated with accessing the Internet from your mobile device.
How do I access USB Mobile Banking Web?
To access USB Mobile Banking Web type www.MyUnionState.mobi into the web browser on your mobile device. At the login screen, enter your Login ID and password. After logging in successfully, you’ll be taken to the Account Overview screen. From there you may view your Mobile Banking accounts and balances. If you want to see transaction activity, select the account you’re interested in and your history will be displayed. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for links to view account details, history, online activity, transfer funds, bill pay, and messages and alerts.
How do I access USB Mobile applications?
USB offers mobile banking applications for both iPhone and Android. To download the USB Mobile app for iPhone go to the Apple App Store and search for “Union State Bank,” or you can download a direct link to the App store from our website. After successfully downloading and launching the app, you’ll be taken to the Mobile Banking login screen. After logging in successfully, you’ll be taken to the Mobile Banking Main Menu. From there, you may view your accounts and balances, transfer funds, view messages and alerts, pay bills, and review online activity.

How do I update my USB Mobile app?
You’ll be notified by the Apple App Store or Google Play whenever there’s an update to your USB Mobile app. It’s your responsibility to go to the appropriate app store to download the latest version of the USB Mobile app.
Does the USB Mobile app work on a tablet?
Currently, the USB Mobile apps are certified only for iPhone and Android devices. Although these apps may work on various tablets, at this time, USB does not provide support for these devices.
What services are available through USB Mobile Banking?
With USB Mobile Banking, you can view your accounts and balances, account history, view online activity, and transfer funds. You can also find ATM and branch locations and get one-touch, direct dial access to Union State Bank Customer Support. If you are enrolled in our free Bill Pay service, you can schedule or cancel payments, and view pending payments, eBills and payment history.
Can I transfer funds in USB Mobile Banking?
Yes. You can make transfers between any accounts you have set up in Online Banking. All you need to do is select “Make a Transfer” and then follow the screen prompts.
What are Mobile Alerts?
USB Mobile Banking offers alerts that will let you know when your balance gets too low, a check clears, a deposit has posted and more, sent directly to your mobile device.
What USB Mobile Alerts are available?
Receive an alert any time the current or available balance of your account goes above or below a specified amount. Receive an alert on a specific date to remind you of an event. Want to know when a transaction posts again your account? Alerts will notify you of activity on your account by check number or transaction type.
How do I create USB Mobile Alerts?
To create your USB Mobile Alerts, login to Online Banking using your login ID and password. Under “Preferences,” select “Alerts.” Click on “Add an Alert.” Select the type of alert you would like to receive – account, date, history, or transaction. Complete the information required to create your new alert. Click “OK” to submit your alert.
Is there a fee for USB Mobile Banking?
USB Mobile Banking is free for all USB Online Banking customers. Be sure to check with your mobile service provider for information about fees associated with accessing the Internet from your mobile device.
Is USB Mobile Banking safe?
USB Mobile Banking employs industry-standard security practices to ensure your account information remains private and secure. Our security measures include, but are not limited to, data encryption, multi-factor authentication technology, out-of-band delivery of one-time access codes, and security alerts. In addition, no identifiable personal information, such as your account number, will be sent or stored on your mobile device.
Will my account information reside on my mobile device?
USB Mobile Banking does not store account information on your mobile device.
What should I do if I lose my mobile device?
If your mobile device is lost or stolen, immediately contact your mobile service provider. Be sure to monitor your account activity via Online Banking and notify us immediately if you notice any suspicious activity.
How can I secure my mobile device?
The features that make your phone “smart” also make it susceptible to viruses and malicious software. If your phone isn’t secure and it is lost or stolen, your personal information could be compromised. Following are some suggestions to help you secure your mobile device:
- Password-protect your mobile device.
- Keep your firmware and apps updated.
- Turn off services when not in use.
- Encrypt sensitive data.
- Install a security application.
- Setup your device to lock automatically when inactive. Require a password to reactivate.
- Visit only reputable websites. Download apps from trusted sources.
- Logout of websites when you’re finished with them.
- Do not click on unsolicited or unexpected links.
- Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when you’re not using them.
- Avoid shopping or banking on public networks.
- Back up your data regularly.
- Make sure to delete all your personal information before recycling your phone.
- Ask your mobile service provider if they have the ability to remotely wipe information from your phone should it become lost/stolen.
Should I store my passwords on my mobile device?
With all the passwords or PINs we have to remember, it’s tempting to save them on your phone. This can lead to a data compromise if your phone should become lost or stolen. Don’t store passwords or PINs on your mobile device unless they are encrypted properly.
What happens if I forget my login ID or password?
If you forget your login ID or password, please call Union State Bank Customer Support toll-free at 866.557.0060 during regular business hours. They’ll help you reestablish your login ID or password.
What happens if I change my mobile phone number?
If USB Online Banking is using your mobile device for delivery of your Secure Access Code, you’ll need to change USB Online Banking to reflect your new mobile phone number. To change the number to which your Secure Access Code is delivered, login to USB Online Banking. Under “Preferences,” select “Security.” From the “Security Preferences” screen, select the “Secure Delivery” tab. Highlight the number you would like to change by clicking on it once. Click on the “Edit Delivery Contact” icon. An “Edit Contact Delivery” box will appear. In the “SMS Text” field, enter your new mobile phone number. Click “OK” to submit your changes.
If USB Online Banking is using your mobile device for delivery of Alerts, you’ll need to change USB Online Banking to reflect your new mobile phone number. To change the phone number to which your Alerts are sent, login to USB Online Banking. Under “Preferences,” select “Alerts.” The “Alerts” menu will provide a list of all the alerts you’ve created. To edit an alert, double-click on it. An “Edit Account Alert” box will appear. Enter your new mobile phone number in the field labeled “SMS Text.” Click “OK” to submit your changes.
