(March 16, 2018) David Marshall, Chief Financial Officer for Union State Bank and Docking Bancshares, Inc., was recently honored at the Wichita Business Journal's 2018 CFO Award Banquet held on March 12th at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita. He was one of twenty-two honorees.
Marshall has been with Union State Bank for five years and has over three decades of diverse experience in Accounting, Treasury and Finance. He leads and directs the bank’s Accounting, Planning, Finance and Investment functions. Marshall also serves on the Bank’s Board of Directors.
Marshall graduated from Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Community College, before receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas. He is also a Certified Treasury Professional with the Association of Financial Professionals.
He and his wife Brenda currently reside in Hutchinson. Marshall is actively involved in the academic community, currently serving on the Board of Trustees for Hutchinson Community College, as well as being the treasurer for the Kansas Association of Community College Trustees. David and Brenda have two children, Christopher and Jamie.
